Voice lessons are pretty trippy. I haven’t even started work on my arias yet.. still on the inward yoga that is finding my voice. But Sentgeorge is pretty awesome. He’s intimidating in his smart-ass way… but I have a weird thing with mirroring personalities, so we get along alright. He puts me at ease, which wasn’t expected.

Not a shabby evening. Joel and I have taken to old couple-Dom pretty early on. This is probably our 9th consecutive instance of quiet evenings at home, with friends reruns, short story writing, coffee, and the kitty. We had our favorite fellow couple, Josiah and Megan, over the other night. We went candle shopping for the occasion.

Today, we lost a wonderful kitty. Tess was a friend to everyone shed meet, a truly gentle soul. The sweetest cat I have ever met, and she will be greatly missed. It has been a blessing having her here. (for 11 years!) I love you, sweet girl.
